  • It won’t let me sign my online application. What do I need to do?
    You need to sign the application with your first and last name as you entered them at the start of your onboarding.
  • I can’t login to the system.
    Before you can login to our payroll software, there are a few things that must happen first. You must fully complete your electronic onboarding, and your worksite employer must login and approved you.
  • I’m a new employee, how do I login to complete the online onboarding process?
    You will need the alphanumeric code provided in the Electronic Employee Onboarding letter from your employer. The code is highlighted in the upper right corner of the letter. It is composed of 4 numbers followed by two letters. Please use this link to login and get started with onboarding and filling out your application: https://cornerstone.prismhcm.com/Account/NewEmployee
  • I’m an employee who didn’t receive, or have access to, the 4-digit code provided to me in the onboarding letter.
    If you don’t have access to the 4-digit code provided, please request the code from your worksite employer.
  • I don’t remember my password. How can I login?
    You can go to our website at https://cornerstone.prismhcm.com then click on Reset Password, then enter your email address and then click in the box to the left of I’m not a robot. Then enter your email address and hit enter. The system will send you an email to your email address on file with Cornerstone PEO. The email will come from info@prismhcm.com and will have a link that you can click on to reset your password.
  • I’m getting a message that my account is locked.
    If you get the message that your account is locked, you will need to contact us at 877-736-9473 and choose Option 0. You will need to answer a few questions to identify yourself. Once verified, we can unlock your account so you can access the system.
  • Why didn’t I get any federal tax taken from my paycheck?
    Taxes are deducted based on your gross (overall) wages in a paycheck and the number and kind of dependents you have recorded on your W4 tax form. You can update your W4 to adjust Federal Taxes. If you are making changes on a mobile device, by clicking to the left of the Cornerstone PEO logo (the squares) in the title bar, the drop-down menu on the left with your personal information opens and you can access from there. Then log in using your username and password, then go to Federal Tax Forms, then click on W4, then click on Update W4, make the change, then click on Save at the bottom of the screen.
  • Can I change my State Tax deductions?
    Yes. If you are making changes on a mobile device, by clicking to the left of the Cornerstone PEO logo (the squares) in the title bar, the drop-down menu on the left with your personal information opens and you can access from there. Then log in using your username and password, then go to State Tax Form and Edit your State Tax form or Add State Form in the system.
  • Can I change my address?
    Yes. If you are making changes on a mobile device, by clicking to the left of the Cornerstone PEO logo (the squares) in the title bar, the drop-down menu on the left with your personal information opens and you can access from there. Then log in using your username and password, then go to Personal Information, scroll down to the Home Address section, then click on Edit, update your address, (make sure you address both the Home Address & Mailing Address) then click Save.
  • Can I have extra Federal Tax taken from my pay?
    Yes. If you are making changes on a mobile device, by clicking to the left of the Cornerstone PEO logo (the squares) in the title bar, the drop-down menu on the left with your personal information opens and you can access from there. Then log in using your username and password, then go to Federal Tax Forms, then click on W4, then click on Update W4, make the change, then click on Save at the bottom of the screen.
  • I want to change my direct deposit information.
    You will need your login information to make a change. If you are making changes on a mobile device, by clicking to the left of the Cornerstone PEO logo (the squares) in the title bar, the drop-down menu on the left with your personal information opens and you can access from there. Then log in using your username and password, then go to Personal, then Direct Deposit, then Edit to change your Direct Deposit or New to add an additional direct deposit. Then click on Save. If you have more than one direct deposit, the one without a specific amount or percentage should be set to Remainder of Check.
  • Why wasn’t I paid for all the days I worked in a row at an event?
    The days you worked may fall into different pay periods so they would not be in the same paycheck. Please contact your worksite employer for confirmation on the pay period dates for the dates in question that are not in your paycheck.
  • How do I view or print my W2?
    Log in to the system at https://cornerstone.prismhcm.com/LogOn. • Click on Federal Tax Forms, then click on W2 • Choose the Year for the W2 Form you want to View or Print • Click Generate PDF • The system will display your W2 and allow you to download or print the W2
  • How do I view or print my paystub?
    Log in to the system at https://cornerstone.prismhcm.com/LogOn. • Click on icon of person, labeled Personal, on the left side, which will take you to your personal information • Click on Pay, then click Pay Stub to view a list of your pay checks • Under the Check No. column, click on the Check Number to view stub • Click on Print Paystub
  • My paycheck is wrong, or I am missing hours. How can I get this resolved?
    Any discrepancies on hours or pay rates need to be reported directly to your Worksite Employer, as Cornerstone only enters the payroll information they are given by the Worksite Employer. Cornerstone usually does not have access to the scheduling site used by your company. Please reach out to your contact at your company.
  • There is a mistake on my W2. How can I get it fixed?
    Please go to https://www.cornerstonepeo.com/w2-request-form to complete and submit a W2 correction form. A team member will be in touch with any questions and corrections that were made.
